Vidura Returns to Hastinapura Yudhishtra overhears Vidura speaking quietly with Sanjaya. He learns that in a moment of anger, Dhritarashtra had sent Vidura away, only to drown later in remorse. Moved by the bond between them, Yudhishtra tells Vidura that his rightful place is at the king’s side, guiding him with wisdom and compassion. Vidura agrees and returns to Hastinapura. Dhritarashtra and Gandhari receive him with tears. Dhritarashtra’s voice trembles as he rebukes Vidura for abandoning them. He begs for a promise that Vidura will never leave again, even if ordered to do so. Vidura bows his head and silently affirms his loyalty. Sage Maitreya curses Duryodhana, warning of Bhima’s blow to his thigh. Shakuni reaches Kamyaka Forest, forms an alliance with the cannibal Kirmira, and unleashes a deadly hunt for Bhima. Bhima Kills Kirmira As Pandavas, Draupadi and Sage Dhaumya walk along the woods of Kamyaka, they encounter the demon Kirmira, the brother of Bakasura and a friend of Hidimba. A fierce battle ensues between Bhima and the demon, where the two equally matched fighters hurl rocks and trees at each other. Eventually, Bhima emerges victorious. Shakuni and Dushasana, who have brought in Kirmira and secretly watching it from a distance, scurry away.
