Recap of Previous Episode : Episode 79 traces the widening paths of destiny as joy, rivalry, and ambition shape both Indraprastha and Hastinapura. Arjuna’s marriage to Subhadra brings celebration, even as Duryodhana’s jealousy deepens. Duryodhana wins Bhanumathi in the Kalinga swayamvara, aided by Karna, while a new generation of princes is born—Abhimanyu in Indraprastha and Lakshmana and Lakshmi in Hastinapura. 166. Duryodhana's Death and Beyond

Gandhari decides to transfer to Duryodhana the power she has gained through strict adherence to pativrata dharma and harden his body to be as strong as a diamond. She asks Duryodhana to come naked before her, after taking bath in the morning. Krishna comes to know of Gandhari's plan. He takes the form of Dushala and appears before Duryodhana. Dushala tells Duryodhana that it is disgusting that an adult should appear naked before his mother and advises him to cover his loins with a banana leaf. Gandhari, who has kept her eyes covered ever since her marriage, now opens her eyes. She gazes at Duryodhana starting from his head and lowers her eyes gradually. The light from her eyes make Duryodhana's body very strong. When her eyes rest upon his mid region she is shocked. She scolds Duryodhana for not following her instructions. Recap of the Previous Episode : Krishna meets Kunti at the potter’s hut and joins the Pandavas just as Kunti accidentally instructs them to “share” Draupadi, creating a dilemma rooted in their old vow of unity. In Panchala, Drupada rejoices upon learning Draupadi has chosen Arjuna. Dhritarashtra, troubled by dreams and guilt, seeks reassurance from Vidura. Krishna explains to Kunti that Draupadi’s polyandrous marriage is linked to past karma and guides her on handling the situation wisely.
