Scene 1
Kaurava's camp in the forest. Shakuni sitting beside a blazing fire and lost in contemplation. Duryodhana asks him the reason for looking so tormented and disturbed.
Shakuni
: Are you aware that a disembodied voice said that Draupadi will bring about the downfall of the Kauravas? That is why I wanted to have a check over that by getting her married to you, but that that didn't happen. But destiny has destiny has played a different game. It now appears that all the enemies have formed a union.
Durodhana
: I don't understand what you are saying!
Shakuni
: Shikhandi was born to kill Bhishma, Drishtadyumna was born to slay Drona, and Panjali was born to wreak vengeance on the Kauravas. And all these are Drupada's children. And if the person who won at the contest at Draupadi's swayamvaram turn out not to be a Brahmin but...
Duryodhana
: Don't increase my frenzy with your words...
Shakuni
: It is not my intention to upset you with my words. My fear is that the person winning at the contest could be Arjuna, then all our enemies will be in one camp. I do not doubt your bravery. I am saying all this is to issue a warning to myself. You may all go to bed now. I have got more work for my head. That's all.Scene 2
Vidura is offering worship to Shiva when a pigeon brings a letter conveying the message that Pandavas have won Drapadi at Panchala. He tells his wife about Draupadi becoming the daughter-in-law of Hastinapur, and she assumes the groom to be one of Duryodhana or Dushshasana. Vidura then narrates the story of how, with his help, Pandavas escaped being burnt at the lac house. Sulabha becomes emotional on hearing how Vidura conducted 'dharma yuddha' for the welfare of Hastinapura, which was far more than fighting in the battle field like Bhishma or Pandu.
Scene 3
[continued from previous episode showing the true form of Draupadi] Krishna now shows the Pandavas in their elemental form as 'Pancha Bhootas': Yudhishtra as the lord of earth, Bheema as the lord of wind, Arjuna as the lord of fire, Nakula as the lord of water, and sahadeva as the lord of the sky. Draupadi is made of the same five 'shakti'sDraupadi apologises for being hasty and judgemental about Krishna.
Scene 3
Dushshasana gets angry with Shakuni for being care-free and playing with his dice as usual. He is upset for leading a gypsy life in a tent without the courage to go back to Hastinapura.Shakuni
: Tell me if there is any use in worrying, and then I will sport a bigger worry than you!
Dushshasana
: How long are we going to stay here?
Shakuni
: Till the anger that is burning on in Duryodhana's mind gets extinguished.Just then a spy comes and tells them that it is Arjuna who has won Drapdi's hands and confirms that Pandavas are alive with their mother.
Dushshasana rushes to tell Duryodhana, but Shakuni stops him from that. He feels that Dushshasana should personally disguise himself and attend Draupadi's wedding and confirm the news. Shakuni doesn't want Duryodhana to get furious over unconfirmed news. He tells Dushshasana that he would tackle his absence somehow.
Scene 4
Pandavas are given a grand welcome when they come to Drupada's palace. Drupada presnts him with the precious crown he had kept for him. Arjuna is touched and asks why, despite his having captured Drupada once, Drupada is so full of praise and appreciation. Drupada replies Arjuna had captured his heart when he stopped him from falling and supplicating at Drona's feet.rAll of them assemble before Sage Vyasa. Vyasa tells Drupada he wanted Arjuna for his son-in-law, but God had been gracious enough to give all the five Pandavas as his sons-in-law. Satyajit, Drupada's brother, asks why they had to disguise themselves. Vyasa tells them that the Pandavas had acted according to the directives from Vidura. Should they still remain in disguise, asks Drupada. Vyasa says he is waiting for Vidura's message, and with that, they can announce it to the entire world.
Scene 5
Vidura has been thinking all through the night, and drafting a message to Drupada. He wants Drupada to write a message to Dritarashtra that he should request Pandavas to come to Hastinapur to be received with full honor by him. He couldn't do this directly as his words would not be heeded by Dritarashtra.
