Duryodhana Gloats Over Finding The Pandavas Before The End of Incognito Exile : Episode 113

At their usual secret meeting, Arjuna is narrating to his brothers the incidents on the battle with Duryodhana and others and how he takes Uttara to the Vanni tree to get his weapons to fight the Kaurava army. Brihannala aims the Gandiva at Bhishma, and the arrow bows before him. This feat alerts Duryodhana, and he surmises BrihannaLa to be Arjuna. Arjuna doesn't affirm Duryodhana, but incites him to fight. Soon, Arjuna makes the Kaurava army swoon on the battle field with his Mohini Astra and takes away the ornaments of Karna, Duryodhana, Dushshasana, Bhishma and Drona. When these warriors revive, they notice their ornaments gone and feel very embarrassed. Shakuni tells Duryodhana not to worry over his defeat by the Pandavas but rejoice over discovering the Pandavas before the completion of the period of incognito exile.

Radha places Tulsi leaves to counter balance Krishna's weight

Uttara has promised to Arjuna that he would wait until the next day to reveal Pandavas' identities. The next day, Uttara introduces to the king the Pandavas who have been in the royal service without his knowledge. The king and the queen are overjoyed to see the Pandavas and ask their pardon for treating them like servants. Yudhishtra expresses his gratitude to the king for hosting and taking care of them. Virata offerss to give his daughter Uttara in marriage to Arjuna, but Arjuna declines it as he is like a father to his disciple. However, he accepts her as a bride for his son Abhimanyu.

Kauravas are conferring on how best to get even after their defeat at the hands of Arjuna. Karna would like to go for another fight but Shakuni dissuades him. By his calculation, the Pandavas had been identified just in time for them to be sent for another round of twelve-year exile. But it was important to prove this to everybody beyond doubt; otherwise, Vidura and Bhishma would scuttle their plans. They decide to take the help of someone who is an expert in astology, be their well wisher and bend the arguments in their favor. They find Somadatta to be an ideal choice and invite him to their palace.

Radha comes to Krishna's palace at His request. Find that all the royal treasury cannot match Krishna's weight on the balance, she gets them removed and places a couple of Tulsi leaves. The needle swings to the other side now, while Rukmini and Satyabhama watch in total awe and disbelief. Radha explains that all the gold and precious stones are expressions of vanity, and Krishna is swayed only by true love exemplified by Tulsi, which is a symbol of purity and simplicity.

Later, Rukmini notices bruises on Krishna's feet, and when she asks about it, Krishna says it is the result of her actions alone. Rukmini remembers giving a glass of hot milk to Radha in a sudden bout of envy she feels towards Radha. Radha, however, drinks it without a murmur, but the milk has singed Krishna's feet that is for ever present in her heart. Krishna tells Rukmini that she should think only of the love she could bestow on Krishna and not question who Krishna loves most, as He loves everybody equally. Rukmini realizes her folly once again, and promises not to question His love ever again.

Kunti is delighted that her sons have completed the one-year incognito exile successfully, but Vidura warns her about Duryodhana's evil designs. He tells her that Duryodhana has already sent a message to the Pandavas that they have been discovered before the end of the stipulated time frame of incognito exile and that they should once again go the forest. Meanwhile, Somadatta arrives at Hastinapur with his son Bhurisravas. He reckons that the period of exile, if calculated on the basis of 'chandramana' astrology, has ended; yet if they base the calculations on 'suryamnana' astrology, the period has not yet concluded. Somadatta says he is prepared to defend this conclusion in the presence of the king. Duryodhana and Shakuni are overjoyed.
