Pandavas Leave Dwaitavana After completing twelve long years of exile, the Pandavas leave Dwaitavana to plan their Ajnatavasa, the year of living incognito. As Sage Dhaumya had warned, spies sent by Duryodhana secretly follow them. Bhima swiftly eliminates every spy they encounter. At one point he raises his mace to strike another spy but discovers that it is Kanika, sent by Vidura. Yudhishtra stops Bhima and requests Kanika to return to Hastinapura and inform Vidura that the Pandavas are safe. Sahadeva advises Bhima to carry the body of one of the slain spies, so the Pandavas travel further with a corpse slung across Bhima’s shoulder — ensuring no one suspects that they are ...

Recap of Previous Episode : Kalamuni’s ritual releases a demon to kill the Pandavas. The demon tries to lure Draupadi and causes the brothers to fall unconscious at the lake. The demon fails to kill them and returns furious to demand Kalamuni’s life. A turning point is imminent — divine intervention approaches. The Demon Returns and Devours Kalamuni The demon invoked through Kalamuni’s Abhichara Homa returns furious, having failed to destroy the Pandavas. He storms into the sacrificial site, and before anyone can react, he devours Sage Kalamuni. Shakuni, Duryodhana and Dushshasana panic and flee back to Hastinapur. The spy sent by Vidura also returns and reports that the Pandavas are dead — news he overheard from the demon himself.
